CKLA (Core Knowledge Language Arts)

We use CKLA (Core Knowledge Language Arts) as our main curriculum.  This curriculum emphasizes the use of quality children's literature for literacy and reading readiness.  Each unit outlines explorations which help the children develop critical thinking and sound first approach. We use Heggerty’s Phonemic Awareness Curriculum; and Second Step Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) in our Pre-K 4 classes.
